stolen in Lowhill
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 90-year-old man reported approximately $1,800 and blank checks were stolen between 6:15-7:30 a.m. on Oct. 23 from his home in the 7600 block of Pony Road, Lowhill Township.
Anyone with information about this theft is asked to contact state police at 610-395-1438.
Piglets shot
in Lowhill Twp
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 37-year-old man reported four piglets were shot outside his property Oct. 18 at 5358 Bluebird Drive, Lowhill Township.
Police say three of the piglets were killed and one piglet was injured.
The owner lost $2,800 in income due to the loss of his livestock, police say.
Minivan hits
utility pole
Police say Christopher J. Wolfe, 41, of Andreas, was driving a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country when it struck a utility pole 6:28 a.m. Oct. 27 at 7366 Route 309, Lynn Township.
According to police, the Chrysler was southbound on Route 309, just north of Autumn Road when it became inoperable while in motion and struck the utility pole to its point of final rest.
Wolfe, who was wearing his seat belt, was transported by Cetronia Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
There was minimal damage to the Chrysler and no damage to the utility pole, police say.
