The Emmaus High School drama department will present "The Diary of Anne Frank" as the fall production 7 p.m. Nov. 6, 7 and 8.
The drama is the story of Anne Frank who writes of her life experiences in a diary she received at age 13.
She writes about her life, thoughts, wishes, experiences and family struggles.
Being of the Jewish faith in German-occupied Holland, the family, fearing for their lives, goes into hiding and moves into Anne's father's office building into a space hidden behind a bookcase where the family lives for two years. Other people join the Frank family in their hiding place.
The cast consists of 10 players including James Bowen as Peter van Daan; Matthew Johnston as Hermann van Daan; Andrew Ferguson as Otto Frank; Gwyn Pacheco as Edith Frank; Robert Lynn as Victor (Kugler) Kraler; Jaeden Reppert as Albert Dussel; Katie Gigler as Petronella van Daan; Julia Bezems as Anne Frank; Victoria Reichelderfer as Margot Frank and MaryKate Thornton as Miep Gies.
Three students appear in the last scene as Nazi soldiers: Jason Kashuba, Nick Quinn and Noel Vinovskis.
