Favorite subject: I love math because I love the challenge of working through a difficult problem. I also love English because I love to read and explore different perspectives.

Heroes: I really admire John Green for his ability to reach out to other people powerfully and meaningfully. His passion and enthusiasm about learning and community has inspired me to participate in the classroom and the community.
Hobbies: Reading, origami, Rubik's Cube, Sudoku
Volunteer/community work: I'm a member of our Women's Awareness club, which raises money for local organizations that deal with women's issues. I also volunteer for a feminist social media campaign called Powered By Girl.
