Shirley M. Hartranft, of Orefield, died Oct. 24, 2014, in ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late J. Rodney Hartranft.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret M. (Ehrig) Dunbar.

She was employed at Day-Timer, formerly of East Texas, for six years before retiring in 1993.

Prior to that, she was a sewing machine operator at the former Quaker Shoe Company, Allentown, for 20 years.

Her survivors include stepchildren Randy R. Hartranft and wife, Bonnie, of Orefield, Dawn L. Bandle and husband Lewis, of Allentown, Robin A. Pagani and her companion, Robert Vorndran, of Quakertown, Diane M. Spinosa and husband Steven, of Catasauqua; siblings Carol Pockevich of Allentown, Robert Dunbar of Emmaus, Ronald Dunbar of Orefield; eight step-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
