Lorraine D. Grammes, 84, of Allentown, died Oct. 22, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband Donald L. Grammes would have been married 64 years in December.

She flew to Alaska to marry her husband while he served in the U.S. Air Force in 1950.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Robert A. and Elsie E. (Gehris) Raph.

She was a member of Morgenland Church, Orefield.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, floral arranging and shopping.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Roark D. and his wife, Michele, of Allentown; sister Shirley Wentzel of Allentown; and granddog Winnie. She was predeceased by a sister Geraldine B. Raph.
