Library to offer tech 'petting zoo'
There's always something new going on at Northampton Area Public Library.
The library just held its 18th annual autumn auction/basket social on Oct. 17. Library officials would like to extend a great big thank you to everyone who donated, participated and/or joined us for a fun night.
Library representatives hope if you were one of the attendees that you had a great time and maybe won one of our close to 500 prizes.

The library is currently in the process of planning more programming for adults. Is there a particular subject you would like to see a program on?
Feel free to email khein@northamptonapl. org. The library staff wants the library to be the spot you come to for learning, information and fun! Your ideas are important.

Coming soon at the library is local author and Allentown native Paul Acampora. He is the author of "I Kill the Mockingbird," which happens to be one of our "BeTween Books," one of the book discussion books being read by the young adult group.
The event is being held Thursday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. and is open to the public.

The library will soon have an Instagram and Pinterest accounts as well. Don't know how to use Pinterest? Take a free class on Universal Class through the library's website. Fair warning, though – it can be highly addictive.
While you are checking out the Pinterest class, take a look at all the other informative and fun courses you can take through Universal Class – all free. Some offer continuing education credits.
