Leaser Lake Heritage Foundation Secretary Amy Mende, 60, of Kempton, died Oct. 21, 2014, in Lynn Township.
She and her husband Robert C. Mende were married 38 years.
Born Feb. 11, 1954, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Jean Lenore (Spielvogel) Lesser.
A customer service representative at Highmark Insurance, Allentown, for the last year, she previously worked in the same capacity at Day-Timer, formerly in East Texas, for 28 years.
A lifelong Girl Scout with a 50-year pin, she also was an avid equestrian, the volunteer coordinator of the Lehigh Valley Dressage Association, a member the Moravian College Alumni Board and a member of the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club.
Her survivors include a sister Helen Lesser of Norwalk, Conn.; cousins Eric Lesselbaum of Bronxville, N.Y., Sandy Reiss of Olney, Md.; beloved felines Abbie, Dragonheart and So-nobi; and her beloved horse, Dodger.
