LaRue S. Geiger, 86, of Danielsville, died Oct. 22, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Herbert P. Geiger.

Born May 15, 1928, in Weisenberg Township, she was the daughter of the late J. Ralph and Elsie I. (Snyder) George.

She assisted her late husband in the operation of their family farm since 1958.

She also was a waitress at the former Wotring's Banquet Hall, Schnecksville, for several years.

She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, where she served as an usher and a member of the quilting group.

Her survivors include children Carol R. Fink and her husband, Philip, of Hamburg, Ruthann I. Mann and her husband, Glenn, of Bath, Sherwood P. Geiger and his wife, Kathleen, of Danielsville; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
