Joseph Brown, 60, of Catasauqua, died Oct. 26, 2014, in Northampton.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Nancy (Strack) Brown.

He was a heavy equipment operator for the labor union with various Lehigh Valley companies.

He is survived by three sisters, Wendy and her husband Jeff Zemba, Flaxine Grube and Nita Brown; a brother, William and his wife Melissa Brown; a stepdaughter, Heather and her husband Keith; two grandchildren, Shayna and Jacob; and nieces and nephews Wayne, Shawn, Destiny, Kristyn, Tyra and Cole.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca.

There will be a calling hour from 11 a.m.-noon, followed by a funeral service at noon, both on Nov. 1 at the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, 18032.
