There will be a public workshop to discuss the September 11 National Memorial Trail project at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at Victory Fire House, 205 Webster St. Members of the NMT Alliance Board of Directors, the study committee and the consulting team will be present.

The proposed 300 mile northern leg of the corridor, between the Delaware River, the Flight 93 National Memorial near Shanksville and the Great Allegheny Passage in Somerset County, is financed in part by grants from the Community Conservation Partnership Program, Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund; and the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies.
