Harold J. Waylen, 71, of South Whitehall Township, died Oct. 12, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was the companion of the late Betty J. Stibitz.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph W. and Zula M. (Kline) Waylen.

Before retiring, he was an auto mechanic in Alburtis.

He was predeceased by a sister, Laura Boger.

His services will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 16, at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville. Calling will begin at 9 a.m. with burial to follow at Jordan Lutheran Cemetery, Orefield.
