Eva Buchay, 89, of Schnecksville, died Oct. 12, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Stephen Buchay.

Born June 1, 1925, in New Tripoli, she was the daughter of the late Vaso and Anastasia (Kurus) Yankovich.

She was a clerical worker at Rodale before retiring.

Active in the life of her church, she was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Salisbury Township.

An avid reader, she also enjoyed making delicious meals.

She will always be remembered for her willingness to give a helping hand for those in need and as a loving, kind, generous and devoted mother and sister.

There will be a private memorial service for family and friends in her church. No calling hours.
