Elaine M. Glasser, 95, of Allentown, died Oct. 7, 2014, in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late Samuel K. Glasser.

Born March 6, 1919, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Sarah J. (Phillips) Trumbauer.

She was a secretary at New York Life Insurance Co. and the Allentown-Lehigh County Chamber of Commerce, before retiring in 1979.

During her working years, she volunteered in the thrift shop of the Lehigh Valley Council of Churches and at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township for more than 30 years.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, South Whitehall.

Her survivors include a daughter Gail G. Wotring of Allentown; grandchildren Ann L. Kirka of New Tripoli and Dean J. Wotring of Whitehall; sisters Lorraine S. Wolfgang of Orefield, Sharon Troxell of Chesterfield, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Clarence B. Trumbauer.

Her funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
