Anita B. Gaughan, 82, from Allentown, died on Oct. 11, 2014, in Whitehall Manor.
Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late John and Ann (Chuska) Bobersky.
She graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a degree in physical education.
She was a very active member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield, where she was past president of the Women's Guild, taught CCD, called bingo at the carnivals, and taught preschool for many years until retiring.
Her survivors include a sister, Diane Tilton of Allentown; daughters M. Kathleen Gaughan of Macungie, Ann M. Savkova, wife of Yuri Savkov, of Allentown; sons Vincent J. and wife, Cynthia Sora, of Lumberton, N.J., John M. and wife Lizbeth. of Center Valley; grandchildren: Sasha, Yanna, Jason, Griffin, Quinn, Liam and Ryan; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers Paul and John.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Oct. 20, at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield.
Visitation will be from 3:30-5 p.m. Oct. 19, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc. 1018 Church St., Fogelsville and 10-11 a.m. Monday in the church.
Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
