City of Bethlehem Firefighter Mike Thompson is donating part of his liver to help three year old Kennedy Stevenson, daughter of Thompson's former Bethlehem Catholic HS classmate Donya McCoy.
The little girl was diagnosed with AdoHcy (S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase deficiency), a rare liver disorder that inhibits protein processing. The surgery is scheduled for Oct. 28 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
