Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church Youth Group will be hosting a Longaberger Basket Bingo and Chinese auction Nov. 9. Doors open at noon and bingo starts at 1 p.m.

There will be homemade food and baked goods, specials and raffles, as well as Chinese auction items.

The Shepherd of the Hills youth group will be selling nut rolls beginning Oct 19. Orders must be placed by Nov. 2. They will be delivered Nov. 16.

Flavors which may be ordered are nut, lekvar, poppy, raspberry and apricot.

We all know the importance of donating blood. The Whitehall Pharmacy, 4117 Main St., is sponsoring a Miller-Keystone Blood Drive Saturday, Nov. 1, 2-5 p.m.

Try to stop by the store to register for a time slot.

The Egypt Memorial Park will be hosting the annual fall yard sale 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 11, at the playground.
