Vondelane V. Stoeckel, 74 years, 8 months, 8 days, of Phoebe Home, Allentown, formerly of Salisbury Township, died on Sept. 30, 2014, in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown.

Born Jan. 22, 1940, in Shimersville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Mary Arlene (Buss) Marsteller.

She was an administrative assistant at Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21, Schnecksville, from 1977-2002.

She was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Allentown.

Her survivors include children, Daniel D. and his wife, Donna, of Allentown, Lani S. Shimandle and her husband, Scott, of Schnecksville, Perri S. Matejcek and her husband, Michael, of Allentown; grandchildren Rebecca Feifel, Joshua, Jacob and Jillian Stoeckel, Jennifer and Kaitlyn Shimandle, Jonathan, Gabrielle and Christopher Matejcek; great-grandchildren Brooke and Aubrey Feifel; brother Richard Marsteller of Flower Mound, Texas; sister Pamela, wife of the Rev. Ned McMillen of Bethel, Conn.

She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Deborah Stoeckel.
