Man found

lying near roadway

Upper Macungie Township police say John Slavik, 55, of the 1000 block of Hausman Road, South Whitehall, was found lying face down just off Cetronia Road at Schantz Road, Upper Macungie Township, at 9:47 p.m. Oct. 2.

Police allege Slavik was under the influence of alcohol.

A non-traffic citation was filed with District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie.

Cetronia Ambulance Corps assisted at the scene.

Wallet, cash stolen

from vehicle

Police say a 44-year-old man reported his wallet, containing various financial instruments and cash, was stolen sometime overnight Sept. 26 from his unlocked vehicle in the 7900 block of Woodsbluff Run, Upper Macungie.

Property stolen

from business

Police say an employee with Conway Central Express, 7649 Penn Drive, reported 9:06 a.m. Oct. 5 two trailers had their locks cut off and property was removed from inside sometime between Oct. 3-5.

The employee told police the trailers were parked at the business between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 3.

A perimeter security chain link fence was cut sometime late Friday evening, police say.
