Criminal mischief

Reported in the 4800 block of Waterford Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors damaged a mailbox between midnight and 8 a.m. Sept. 28.

Retail theft

Aubrey Carvalho, 26, of Fleetwood and Samantha Berhard, 25, of Mertztown, were charged with retail theft after they allegedly placed items in a shopping cart without scanning the items at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:01 p.m. Sept. 29. Both women tried to leave the store without paying for the items. Charges were filed at District Court 31-3-02 in Allentown.

Theft from motor vehicle

Reported in the 1600 block of Promise Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a Sirius Satellite Radio faceplate between 7 p.m. Sept. 28 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 29.

Forgery

Reported in the 6800 block of Lincoln Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors forged a signature on 13 Wells Fargo checks for personal gain. The incident remains under investigation.

Found property

Reported in the 6900 block of Sunflower Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 2:43 p.m. Sept. 30, a bicycle was located in a retention pond. During a canvass of the neighborhood, police learned the bicycle had been there since Sept. 28. No one in the neighborhood claimed the bicycle described as a red older mountain bike.
