Through a recent merger New Jersey's Provident Bank opened an old building with a new face at a celebration for local residents Sept. 13. Manager Leigh A. Selden said Provident's very first branch in Pennsylvania is now open at 2151 Emrick Blvd. in Bethlehem Township, close to the industial park and routes 33 and I-78. Provident provides consumer, commercial and investment services but, as shown by its family fun day, it's also about more than business. "We all live and owrk in the community," Selden said, "We're customers as well as neighbors."
