College selected as 'Military Friendly'
For the third year in a row, NCC has been named to the Military Friendly Schools list of the 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace America's military service members, veterans and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus.
In addition to having a certifying official who can help veterans access the educational benefits they have earned and apply for state and federal financial aid, the college's support for veterans includes a special orientation program to help them transition to the college environment. The "Band of Brothers," a student-veteran club, focuses on veteran-related issues on campus. Visit www.militaryfriendlyschools.com and the school website for information.
