Lamm finishes third

Whitehall's cross country teams closed out their season Tuesday and now get ready for the first-ever EPC meet next week.

The boys and girls both dropped matches to Parkland, Emmaus and Easton at the Whitehall Parkway.

For the boys, Gabe Lamm came in third overall with a time of 16:46. Colin Abert of Easton won the race and set a new course record with a time of 16:05, shattering Matt Kacyon's mark from 2009 when he ran a 16:37.

Easton's Kevin Lapsansky was second in 16:28.

For the girls, Emily Brand cracked the top-15 taking 15th in 21:04. Katie Bacher of Emmaus won the event in 19:31.
