Colonial Regional Police arrested a 47-year-old man following a report of a reckless driver on Route 191 around 8:30 p.m. Oct. 1.

According to police, Bryan Cowan of Easton Avenue in Bethlehem was observed swerving his vehicle back and forth on the road, passing through a red light and nearly striking another vehicle.

Upon being approached by officers, Cowan allegedly appeared highly intoxicated and said, "I screwed up. I'm drunk."

Cowan was taken to St. Luke's University Hospital for treatment and is charged with DUI.
