The Hokendauqua Park & Playground will hold its final registration for boys and girls basketball at the Hokendauqua American Legion in Whitehall this Saturday, Oct. 11, from 2-4 p.m.

Bring a copy of your child's birth certificate, insurance information and contact information with phone numbers and an email address.

Beginning at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, a bingo event featuring a retired Longaberger basket collection will take place at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. '97 Snowflake, '86 J.W. Pie Basket, '86 Corn Basket, '92 Gift Giving, '94 Sleigh Bell, '88 Holiday Small Laundry and '00 Deck The Halls are a few of the baskets.

Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church will host a Blessing of the Animals at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19. If interested, bring your pet or pets to Parker Hall.

Church members will prepare homemade filling/stuffing using a potato and bread recipe. The order deadline is Monday, Nov. 10, and the pick-up date is Friday, Nov. 21, 4-6 p.m.
