Annabel B. Helfrich, 84, of South Whitehall Township, died Oct. 6, 2014, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Chester P. Helfrich.

Born in Weisenberg Township, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary (McAlister) Scherer.

A member of United Church of Christ, Greenawalds, she was a former Sunday School teacher and served on the Women's Guild.

She also served as a Cub Scout Den Mother.

Her survivors include a son, Carson O. and his wife, Kathleen, of Paupack; daughter Mary A. of Allentown; grandchildren, Leah Anderson and husband, Eric, and Peter Helfrich and his wife, Callie; and great-granddaughters Molly, Morgan and Katie.

She was predeceased by four sisters.

Her services will be 11 a.m. Oct. 10, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown.

Calling begins at 10 a.m.. Burial to follow at Jordan Lutheran Cemetery, Orefield.
