Nicholas W. Heideecker, 74, of Salisbury Township, died Sept. 22, 2014, at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township. He was the husband of Rita M. (Matosek) Heidecker. They were married for 55 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of Anna (DeMasi) Heidecker, of Allentown and the late Walter J. Heidecker.

He worked at National Can Company, Fogelsville, as a mechanic and at Stohl's Brewery in the same capacity.

He is survived by his wife; mother; daughters, Donna L. and her husband Michael Gross, Linda G. and her husband Paul Ressler, all of Allentown; grandsons, Nate, Nick and Alec; great-granddaughter, Marlena.
