Mark R. Girodo, 57, of Macungie, died Sept. 29, 2014, at home. He was the husband of Vicki (MacDonald) Girodo. They were married for 31 years last April. Born in Reading, he was a son of Eleanor (Melcher) Girodo of Bally and the late Deacon Albert Girodo, formerly of Reading.

He was employed at Valley Farm Market, Bethlehem. In the past he worked at Laneco.

He is survived by his wife; mother; daughter, Laura A., of Emmaus; son, Bradley and his wife Lindsey serving with the military in Germany; sisters, Christine, of Alabama, Mary Kay Elsberry, of Georgia, Felicia and her husband John Wootsick, of North Carolina, Teresa and her husband Rusty Gailor, of Kentucky, Tony and wife Vega, of Florida, Corky, of Kentucky; grandchildren, Chase, Shaye, Haley, Molly; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and brother Michael.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Lehigh County Humane Society, 640 Dixon St., Allentown, 18103.
