Pulitzer Prize-winner Dr. J. Edward Larson will speak about and sign copies of his new book, "The Return of George Washington" (HarperCollins), 1 p.m. Oct. 12, Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum (LVHM), 432 W. Walnut St., Allentown.

Larson won the Pulitzer for his book "Summer for the Gods: The Scopes Trial and America's Continuing Debate Over Science and Religion" (1997).

Larson, University Professor and Hugh & Hazel Darling Chair in Law at Pepperdine University, Malibu, Calif., is the author of nine books and nearly 100 published articles.
