HEARTS clinic dates set

The HEARTS clinics for uninsured residents will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 11, Nov. 8, Dec. 6, Jan. 17, Feb. 14, March 14, April 11, May 9 and June 13 at Broughal Family Center at the middle school, 114 W. Morton St.

Spirit Reception Alumni event Nov. 1

The Bethlehem Area Education Foundation will host a Spirit Reception Nov. 1 at the Hotel Bethlehem, 437 Main St. The BAEF fundraiser is open to all FHS and LHS alumni. There will be specialty food and cocktails featuring each high school. Event chairs are Lynn Cunningham, Liberty, and Don Cunningham, Freedom alumni.

Notre Dame Speech/Debate team news

Abigail Maroneo won the Congressional Debate portion championship at the Sept. 20 to 21 Yale University Invitational. ND team member Joseph Wetzel also competed in the Congressional Debate category. Wetzel was a presiding officer for one of the preliminary sessions.
