Jessica F. Ritter, 45, of New York City, N.Y., died Sept. 20, 2014, in the Visting Nurse Service of New York's Hospice Inpatient Unit at Bellevue Hospital, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born Sept. 2, 1969, in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Karen C. (Hines) Ritter, and Roy W. Ritter and his wife, Charlene J. (Sup) Ritter of New Tripoli.
A graduate of Emmaus High School and Baruch College, New York City, she resided in NYC for the last 19 years.
Excelling in her marketing career, she volunteered for pet rescue and the New York Food Bank.
Participating in marathons benefiting breast cancer research, she lived life to the fullest extent and loved traveling to many destinations.
In addition to her father and his wife, she is survived by aunts Sandy Borsetti of Bethlehem, Debi Day of Lenharts-ville, Cheryl Rogers of Mt. Bethel, Rhonda Roman and her husband, Nick of Walnutport, Marie Hudson and her husband, Huey of Houston, Texas; uncles Frank Hines of Allentown, Harvey Ritter of Louisville, Ky.; and numerous cousins.
Her memorial service will be 2 p.m. Oct. 11, in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
Visitation period one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
