Gloria M. Gourniak, 87, formerly of Ormrod, died Sept. 28, 2014, in Lehigh Center, Macungie.

She was married to the late Joseph Gourniak Jr.

Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Lillian (Micks) Legath.

She was a sewing machine operator for several Lehigh Valley mills.

Previously, she was an administrative assistant for PPL Electric Co., Allentown.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.

For many years, she was a volunteer for the former North Whitehall Ambulance Corps.

Her survivors include sons, Joseph and his wife, Blodwyn, of Phillipsburg, N,J,, Peter, Michael and John, all of Allentown; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Stephen of Cherryville; sister Antoinette of Florrisant, Colo.; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Judith.

Friends and family may call 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Oct. 2, at Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay.

The calling will be followed by a Divine Liturgy 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton. Interment in parish cemetery, Northampton.
