Joseph C. Wiesner, 88, of Allentown, died Sept. 16, 2014, in Westminster Village, Allentown. His wife of 63 years, Agnes J. (Tichy) Wiesner, died Nov. 3, 2011. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Gustave Wiesner and Elizabeth (Reis) Wehr.
He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Lutheran congregation.
He was a Naval veteran serving during World War II and the Korean War.
He was employed as an accounting supervisor at Lehigh Valley Dairy for more than 25 years. He later worked for Saucony Shoes and Caloric Appliances in Topton.
He was a movie projectionist for most of his adult life, having worked in several theatres in the area including the Boyd, 19th Street and Shankweiler's Drive-In.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by sons, Dr. Jeffrey J. and his wife Laurell, of Bethlehem, and Dr. David C. and his wife Gail, of Raleigh, N.C.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Robert, of Allentown.
