Alburtis Borough Council President Steve Hill, one of many council members attending the electronics recycling event at the Alburtis Fire Company, 321 S. Main St., stands with boxes of recyclable electronics dropped off by borough residents. Residents brought items to a shed at the rear of the fire station. Boxes were filled with such items as televisions, air conditioners and compact disc players. Larger items like washers were collected outside the shed.
