Thelma B. Trobetsky

Thelma B. Trobetsky, 84, of Ruchsville, North Whitehall Township, died Sept. 15, 2014, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

She was wife of the late Michael Trobetsky.

Born Sept. 5, 1930, in Washington Township, she was the daughter of the late Dalton and Ida (Snyder) Romig.

A member of the I.L.G.U. Local 111, Allentown, she was a sewing machine operator at the former Ironton Fashions for 23 years before retiring in 1993.

Prior to that, she worked in various textile mills in the Lehigh Valley for 15 years.

She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, and the Helping Hands.

She was a member of the NOVA Auxiliary where she volunteered in the kitchen.

Her survivors include children, Deborah L. Lerch of Breinigsville, Michael Jr., with whom she resided; two grandchildren; two great-granddaughters.

She was predeceased by a son, Douglas R. and siblings, LaRue, Fay, Curtis and Randall.
