Rita A. O'Donnell, 84, from Macungie, died Sept. 19, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
She was the widow of Wilbert L. O'Donnell.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Louis F. and Josephine M. (Allegri) Girardi.
A seamstress for the former Phoenix Clothes, Allentown, for 25 years, she retired in 1972.
She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield.
Her survivors include a daughter, Sheri, wife of Tip O'Neill Jr. of Bryn Mawr; daughter-in-law, Judy O'Donnell of Macungie; brother Angelo F. of Myrtle Beach; sister, Dolores, wife of Emil Pfenninger of Macungie; grandchildren Kathleen, Laura, Colleen, Bill, Joseph, Mary and Elee O'Neill, and Jamie O'Donnell; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased in April by a son Daniel W.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Sept. 26, at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Road, Orefield.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
