Marilyn A. Beaver, 79, of Slatington, died Sept. 18, 2014, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

She and her husband Clair C. Beaver were married 61 years.

Born April 7, 1935, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Fred J. and Anna C. (Kieffer) Kressly.

She was a sales clerk at various retails stores in the Lehigh Valley before retiring.

She was a member of Jordan Evangelical Lutheran Church, Orefield.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Clair J. of Allentown, Sharon A. Hock and her husband, David, of Jackson Center, Mercer County, Yvonne M. Longenberger and her husband, Harry, with whom she resided; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Donald L.
