Gloria J. Bittner, 87, from Orefield, died on Sept. 21, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown.

The widow of Norman J. Bittner, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Florence (Edwards) Bennighoff.

A printer for AT&T for 20 years, she retired in 1991.

She was a member of both the Fogelsville and Schnecksville senior citizen groups.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church, Trexlertown.

Her survivors include a daughter, Carol Ann, wife of Wayne Haas of New Smithsville; grandchildren Michele Bear, Randy Haas and wife, Melody; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by sisters Helen, Perma, Ruth and Grace.

Her memorial service will take place 10:30 a.m. Sept. 27 at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 6528 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Interment at Ebenezer Cemetery, New Tripoli.
