Lower Suacon Township police conducting a sobriety checkpoint Sept. 6 arrested a Bethlehem resident for suspected intoxicated driving.

Julian Laslo, or Woodfield Drive, passed the checkpoint around 2 a.m., allegedly smelled strongly of alcohol and showed signs of impairment.

Laslo failed field sobriety tests and is charged with DUI.
