Resident makes noise complaint
Shortly after midnight Sept. 21, Coplay police responded to a noise complaint in the 100 block of South Third Street.
On arrival, the patrol officer observed several people in the backyard talking to a resident. The people heeded the officer's advice and moved indoors, police said.
Vandalism reported
Police responded to a call in the 100 block of North Front Street Sept. 16.
Someone wrote " BYB" on the garage door, located at the rear of the residence, police said.
Employees at Coplay House, 136 N. Front St., also reported Sept. 16 someone wrote the letters "BYB" on two of their buses with a black marker, police said.
Police said they are investigating the incident.
Bike stolen
Borough police are investigating a report of a bicycle reported stolen Sept. 16 in the unit block of South Third Street.
The Mongoose Rally bicycle, valued at $1,800, was stolen from the back porch of the residence, police said.
