Driver arrested
in South Whitehall
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Renee Tobias, 43, of Blandon, Berks County, was stopped for an alleged traffic violation 2:49 a.m. Aug. 24 at Hamilton and Cedar Crest boulevards, South Whitehall Township.
Police allege Tobias exhibited signs of being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
Additional signs were allegedly observed during the administration of the standardized field sobriety test, police say.
Tobias was arrested and transported to Lehigh County Central Booking Center where she submitted to a blood test.
According to police charges against Tobias are pending laboratory analysis.

for DUI
State Police Troop M Fogelsville stopped a 21-year-old Northampton man for several alleged traffic violations just before 1 a.m. Sept. 13 along Cedar Crest Boulevard, north of Tilghman Street, South Whitehall Township.
Police allege the man could possibly be driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested for driving under the influence and taken to Lehigh County Central Booking for processing.
