Marie Martin, 92, of Allentown, died peacefully Sept. 8, 2014, with family present. She was the wife of the late John J. Martin. Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Robert P. Sauerman and Grace (Smith) Sauerman.

She was employed at the former Western Electric, Allentown, prior to retirement.

She is survived by sons, Robert J. and his wife Irene, and Edward D. and companion Martha Sontak, of Allentown; four grandsons, one granddaughter; five great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter; one step- grandson; two stepgreat-granddaughters; nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to a charity of choice.

Services are at the convenience of the family.
