The 6th annual Steelworkers and Friends Labor Day parade stepped off Aug. 31 in downtown Bethlehem. According to Jerry Green, longtime president of USW local 2599 which organizes the event, "A very successful parade with the most participants and public I've seen." The Labor Day celebration continued after the parade with a picnic at the local union headquarters in Bethlehem with free food, refreshments and music. Our photo coverage continues on A4.
