Oscar Oppenheimer, 74, of Allentown, died Sept. 2, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was the son of the late Oscar Coll and Josephine Dolores (Silva) Oppenheimer.
He was married to Judith Ann (Walsh) Oppenheimer.
Having attended Villanova University, he was self-employed for most of his career.
A natural born salesman, he loved to tell jokes.
A member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, he was active in Men of St. Thomas (MOST) with the breakfasts and communion lunches.
An avid golfer, he enjoyed watching old movies, shooting pool and playing blackjack.
He served in the Navy.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Michael R. and his wife, Kristina, of Lititz, Rodrigo M. of Sarasota, Fla., and Benjamin P. of Whitehall; daughter: Victoria L., wife of Micah Bennett, of Allentown; and grandchildren Ava Josephine and Weston David Bennett, annd Zachary Michael Oppenheimer.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter Olivia Josephine Oppenheimer.
