A quick reminder that Meet The Teacher Night at Sheckler Elementary School will take place this evening, from 6-8 p.m.

The event gives parents the opportunity to visit their child's classroom and receive valuable information regarding their child's class.

There will be many organizational information tables set up in the gym.

Also, don't forget to visit the book fair going on in the cafeteria during the evening.

Sheckler students enjoyed an assembly Sept. 5 to kick off their annual fundraiser.

The sale runs until Sept. 26. All orders and payments must be turned in to teachers at that time.

Checks should be made payable to Sheckler HSA. Please put your child's name and homeroom number on the check.

Students who sell 10 items will be invited to the mega event with a deejay, inflatables and games. If you have two students who attend Sheckler, there is a family plan where only 15 items need to be sold.

Students in the top selling homeroom will also receive an invite to the mega event.

Also, students who sell 30 items will receive a limo lunch cruise

Plus there are more prizes available for your student to earn.

All profits earned will be used to help fund events and assemblies and well as activities throughout the year.

Sept. 17 is an early dismissal day.

Students in first through fourth grades will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

Kindergarten students will be on modified schedule this day, with kindergarten morning students from 8:50 to10:30 a.m. and afternoon students from 11:40 a.m. to1:30 p.m.
