Janice M. (Hertzog) Koch, 82, Upper Tulpehocken Township, died Sept. 5, 2014, in Laurel Center, Hamburg.

She and her husband Erwin V. Koch Jr. were married 64 years.

Born May 6, 1932, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Fahringer) Ohl and stepfather Harvey Ohl.

She was a life member of the Leithsville Volunteer Fire Company.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by children Deborah A. Sopak and husband Harold W. Jr. of Strausstown, Sharon A. Herzog and husband Jeffrey of New Tripoli, Michael A. Koch and wife Cynthia A. of Linden; brother William A. Ohl of New Ringgold; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother Wilson A. Ohl.

Her service will be private. No calling hours.
