Disorderly group reported
Coplay Police Sept. 7 responded to a call of a disorderly group of youth in the unit block of Front St.
Police said on arrival they observed several young people sitting on a picnic table talking on their cell phones.
Police instructed the group to leave the area.
Alarm activated
An alarm summoned police to Coplay Sporting Goods on North Second Street Sept. 5 at 7:52 a.m.
Police said they heard the alarm but were unable to locate where the sound originated from.
It was determined the alarm came from an adjoining residence.
Hit-and-run
crash reported
Lisa Schweitzer of Whitehall reported on Sept. 4 her 2004 Honda Odyssey was struck while it was parked at Giant Food Store, Chestnut and Cherry streets.
The operator of the vehicle that struck Schweitzer's vehicle left the parking lot without leaving any information.
Police said the incident is being handled as a hit-and-run crash.
Officers said the driver of the offending vehicle left the lot before Schweitzer returned to her car.
