Berdine E. Muth
Berdine E. Muth, 80, of Germansville, died Sept. 7, 2014, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.
She and her husband Marvin M. Muth celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary last Dec. 5.
Born April 1, 1934, in Emerald, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Mabel A. (Christman) Wanamaker.
She was a clerk at New Tripoli Plaza for four years before retiring in 1993, and at the former Keystone Lamp Outlet Store, Slatington, for seven years.
She was a waitress at the Howard Johnson Lehigh Valley Turnpike Plaza for 17 years.
She was a member of Christ's Church at Lowhill, New Tripoli.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by children, Kathleen F., wife of John Baush Jr., of New Tripoli, Janet E., wife of Paul Arndt Jr., of Germansville, Michael M. and his wife, Wanda, of Germansville; siblings Harlin G. Wanamaker and Geraldine A. Wentz, both of Slatington; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by daughter Susan M., son Darrel J., grandson Jason Tretter and siblings Willard, Stanley, Lester and Lorraine.
Her funeral services will be 11 a.m. Sept. 12, in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Russell Campbell officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service at Lowhill Church Cemetery, New Tripoli.
