Rose Emily (Enea) Gentile, 88, formerly of Bethlehem, died Sept. 3, 2014, at Rolling Hills Care Center, Lebanon, N.J. with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Pasquale D. Gentile, Sr. She was a daughter of the late James and Nancy (Caleca) Enea.

She earned a master's degree in elementary education from Lehigh University. She was a school teacher for many years, including as supervisor of physical education in the Easton School District and, after the births of her sons, for 14 years as an elementary physical education teacher in the Salisbury School District, retiring in 1982.

She was a life member of the Lehigh and Northampton Pa. Association of School Retirees Chapters and the PSEA retirees.

She was a life member of the Bethlehem Senior Citizens Council.

She is survived by children, Pasquale D., Jr. and his wife, Sandra, and James P. and his wife Maureen; grandchildren, Dante, Dominic, Nicholas, Jamie and Mary Nicole; many nieces and nephews; brother Frank Enea, sister, Adeline Sauchelli and Pat Enea. She was predeceased by siblings, Ned, John and Mary.
