Parkland Community Library is announcing three new services to help serve the community better.

First, there is now a book drop at the North Whitehall Township Building, 3256 Levans Road, Coplay.

Any library item needed to be returned can be placed in the box and will be picked up by library personnel twice a week.

Next, since so many people today pay with a debit or credit card, the library now accepts them as payment for any fines or fees over $5.

Finally, the library will also begin shipping items home to patrons in the community who are homebound due to a disability.

We will mail items requested to homes and people can ship them back the same way.
