Nancy J. Kutzler, formed Brownie Troop

Nancy J. Kutzler, 73, of Bethlehem, died August 16, 2014, after a long illness. Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Charles S. and Harriet (Roberts) Edwards. She was the wife of Perry A. Kutzler for 49 years.

She was a 1959 graduate of Parkland HS. She was in a two-year medical secretarial program at Rider College.

She worked in the office of Dr. Ross Orr for eight years. She was a business manager for the Bethlehem Diagnostic Clinic for 17 years. She was a transcriptionist at Surgical Associates of Bethlehem until retiring in 2003.

She formed a Girl Scouts of America Brownie Troop at Edgeboro School, Bethlehem. She was a summer counselor at Camp Helena. She was involved with church, Liberty Band Parents Association and neighborhood functions. She was a Musikfest volunteer in the early years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Ann and her husband Robert Grube of Bethlehem Township; a son David P. and his wife Dr. Michele Kutzler of Souderton; four grandchildren, Ryan and Olivia Grube and Evan and Ian Kutzler; and a brother, Richard O. and his wife Susan Edwards of The Villages, Fla.
